When theres nothing you can do

This is basically a sample blog entry functionality that is available to users who log in to the site. Once you are a member you can start blogging and sharing with your church community. Its an excellent way to get to know people, help others and interact with posssible, present and future church members. 

For example, I may want to blog about how I got saved when there was nothing I could do to save myself no matter how hard i tried. Then how ironic it was when I thought I caught a break but ended up in the back of a police car. As we rode down the freeway It was one of the clearest days ever and an overwhelming amount of peace and relief came over me. It didnt even matter what I was facing but I knew I did'nt have to deal with the streets anymore. God put me in a place similar to a father punishing a child but with the knowledge that everything will be ok now. He provided the comfort, love, sanctity and sanity that only he can give.

The point is you cannot save yourself. You see, when we put our trust in things, people and the world at large then you are doomed because most of these things are controlled by the devil. However , if you put your faith and trust in God then you surely will not fail. It is a promise from him.  I made the mistake of being immersed in a life of crime, ill acquired financial gain and drug abuse until I almost forgot who I was anymore.  Only when all these things were taken away did He get my attention but sometimes thats what it takes to straighten us out and save us from assured death.

So I would just like to thank God for saving me and allowing me to part of a better world where I can give, share with my family and be a testimony to the grace of Jesus Christ. Amen.
