Announcements

This is some sample text to familiarize you with creating pages for your site. it is really easy because there is no back end to mess with.  All your options are right up front on the add menu.  Drupal is an advanced content management system so its whole purpose is to provide different methods of relaying content to your audience.

So basically whenever you want to create something like this page or anything else for that matter you just click on "create content" in the naviagation menu, click page and follow the text fields. If you need help you can click on the help link in the same menu which will give you a whole list of help topics for your perusal. I think its located at the bottom. 

After you click page you will have a large text field on your screen where you can enter text, images like i did with the gold guy and stuff like that. You can add images from your computer by clicking the little tree icon in the text editor. It basically acts just like Word.

Finally at the bottom of the page you wil have option to publish your content on the front page automatically if you want. By default its automatically checked off to publish. You can also add file attachments.
